
Founded in 1920 the "Maglificio Lisanzese" knitwear factory was immediately distinguished by the style and enthusiasm youthful founder Liberata Bodio, who had learned the art of knitwear making socks, gloves and sweaters for the families of military personnel at war in the Carso and Alps.
During the '50s Lisanza creations were widely appreciated and they interpreted all the changes in italian taste, translated in the collections. The founder's art heralded future "designer name" period wich would then make the fortune of italian fashion throughout the world.
The fouder died in 1975, at the age of 80. An example of industriousness and diligenge still remembered by the workers who considered her a teacher; an example carried on daughter and by her successors, her grandchildren who manage the company today.
